Sometimes you need to break the rules to let your voice being heard. Is this true? What do you think?
Bay and Medusa were two girls that were in love with their own art, always trying to find a way to speak out loud. For two years taking art classes and participating in art projects at school were not enough. They wanted their own space, they wanted to make people see what they can do, they wanted to say out loud that they have a voice of their own. But no gallery would ever say yes to this, after all they were only 14 years old.
Yeah! The art world has its own rules; so they decided to make their own. That’s when they were introduced to STREET ART, they got so much into it, even though they knew that many people didn’t like it. In context, STREET ART is totaly revolutionary and they liked that idea, it was time for them to make history.
Police considered this to be a crime, so it was dangerous to do it, but that wouldn’t stop them.
All of this that I just told you happened in those two years that I mentioned before and now they are ready for their first STREET ART PROJECT.
The canvas of their master piece will be an empty billboard, but what Medusa didn’t know is that paid for it. When she found out, she got really upset and told Bay that the deal was to take risks, to believe in their art.
So they started to plan another project, they took it to a new level, but to make it into a reality they needed a little bit of help.
The first step was going to advertise to other street artist’s their need of help. The next step would be to look for all the street artist’s work to say help in their own way together with the date, hour and place for they to find them.
They all meet on the 23rd. street, building A. Medusa was the one to explain everything and Bay was the one to give the final touch to the speech for them to be totaly convinced.
You may wonder what does this story has to do with a door; well this door is the door of the building where they printed out their STREET ART PROJECT.
